A happy place, with others and lots to do!" He protested, struggled and gave a fuss I gave him a pill and he went with us. Took him to the Ward & I heard he's sick We did our part, now he may not make it. Thanks to us at least he was able to see all this For one brief moment, he got to share our bliss. As I, Just Like You With water running like blood Through rivers flowing as veins Feeding trees sprouting like hair Protecting land layered as skin Under air filled skies like lungs. The world anatomy as stated Our Earth is just like you. The Legend of Crazy Bike From a mixed breed, as legend has it He rode his Iron Horse as a form of transit Though no pictures exist, he was seen by all Horse vs Horse, Winter, Spring, Summer & Fall Light & wavy hair, he stood out from the rest Everywhere he rode, each trip another test. Like no other, he soared in the wind Never looking back he was sure to win. A little shy, but women & children watched in awe Such strong medicine, he would amaze them all. Then came the Iron Machine, crafted by a few Suffocating something hidden, not in plain view. So it was up to the one they called Crazy Bike Without doubt, no other warrior for this fight. An Iron Machine with motor wheels pulling metal Overly matched a Human's legs pushing a pedal. Quickly it was over, the Iron Machine was too strong Replaced, the legend of Crazy Bike is virtually gone. Quietly waiting as the Iron Machine comes off track Revealing its deceptive ills and then he'll be back. Pot-o-Gold Many moons ago, you came and took gold Yellow metal hiding from you under the ground Ripping and running as you laid your paths Destructive beings, what else have you found? Black oil bubbling up as you drill into the land Soon attracting the iron mosquito is my bet. Now other minerals have found your interest Using iron ore, copper and coal is the next step Well, you are making a mistake I must convey Ruining pure water, polluted from your disastrous course something you need daily simply to survive Alas, the real pot-o-gold, your most precious resource Drop of Water Dropping from clouds in the form of rain Caught in a puddle of rough terrain Slowly streaming its way to a lake Or maybe it's a pond where it will wait To be swept away by a brook or creek And into a river is where they'll meet Ending up in the ocean or the sea A drop of water's incredible journey. Just a Bug I may be a little Pill bug In the yard, call me a Slug, No, I'm not a fighter Maybe an itty, bitty Spider Or I could be a tiny Ant Eat you? Sorry I can't ! As a Pnat flying in the air Why should you even care? I won't do anything to you I just want to Live too !!! Who would have thought it would come to this? As it becomes so obvious people are so ruthless The people? All people? No, it's just them They are the one's who we condemn Wow, it's Wednesday again! They are full of it, you must admit On TV, in traffic, headlines...I'm sick of it And I blame them, I cannot pretend Buck stops here is the message we must send. Better notice, it's Wednesday again! It keeps getting worse how far will it go? 'till it hits bottom, that's all I know Reveal the wrongs before we can mend These are the wounds we must tend You know, it's Wednesday again! Time is of the essence, as it moves fast Before you know it another day has passed Move swift and sure will make this end Against those who feel rules should bend Take note, it's Wednesday again! Don't blame the carrier of the passing of time Not to notice it's speeding up is the crime Initially it is difficult to comprehend Your mind denies it as a gift to lend Yes, you're right, it's Wednesday again! So the time is right for you to be angry Become empowered and a Consumer Vigilante!
