hay maria, i hope you come back and read this. i feel exaclty the same about strech marks. im 14 years old and i have had my streach marks since i was 11, i wasn't overweight i was and still am an very active girl as when i was 11 (well not so active like i was when i got addicted to the internet lol) but i haven't wore shorts or short sleave shrits for 4 years now. it was very hard for me since i live in FLORIDA!there are white and maroone marks on my hips and i can see small ones comming on my legs also. but to top off my streach marks i have scares from a dog attack that i got when i was 6th grade. but thats another story, lets just say i went to south america to meet my dad for the frist time.he turned out to be a tottal drunk, he left me alone outside with a dangerous dog ( which i might add that he knew that the dog was dangerous) he was to drunk to take me to the hospital so i got stuck with scars for the rest of my life :( thanx dad. my friends also ask me that famous question " why don't you wear shorts?",or,"don't worry about it nobody cares." i do care i can always catch them starring at my streach marks and scars (im very good at catching people at what they are thinking or looking at ,heheh >:) but what can i do... live and apprechiate what i have and i should stop bitching because there are other things more important than my strech marks or scars. there is my life to look forward to and someone have a problem about my apperance they can shove it up there wazooo! thanx indira
